Salvation: We Offer Christ To You
“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” -- John 10:10 (NKJV)
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” -- Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
The passion of this church is to reveal
the heart and love of Jesus Christ for every person
ever created, and to call and equip every person to
their fullest God-Given potential and destiny. It is
important to understand that the purpose of Christ coming
into the earth is “to destroy the works of the
devil.” (1 John 3:8, NKJV) Those works of the
devil include influencing man (first, in ADAM) to forsake
the path of life that God had ordained for man to follow
to experience God fully. That path includes a life of
love, peace, joy,
righteousness, hope, and prosperity spiritually, physically,
socially, relationally, and economically.
Due to the fall of humanity to the in sin and shaped in iniquity. That means that we are born with a natural bent in us toward the things that are opposed to the order of God. When we surrender our souls and minds to the influences of the devil in our lives, we all “sin and fall short of the Glory of God.” (Romans 3:23, NKJV) The Glory of God is in essence, the nature and spirit of Christ revealed through humanity, and specifically through your life; “Christ in YOU (is) the hope of Glory.” (Colossians 1:27, emphasis added)
For this reason it is necessary that we become “born again.” (John 3:3) It is necessary that our minds be “renewed,” or made new again, through the Word of God. This renewal must take place because “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” (Prov.23:7)
The entire process of the renewal of the life and soul, which is called “salvation,” begins with speaking to the Lord concerning the following, called the “A, B, C’s of salvation:”
- Admission: Admit
to Him your condition as a sinner in need of salvation;
understanding that it is only” by the grace
of God, through faith” can man be “saved,
and not of (any) works…” (Ephesians 2:8,9)
we could perform.
- Belief: Believe
in your heart that Christ died to take away your sin
[and to justify (or to declare not guilty) your sin
nature,] and “believe that God raised Him (Christ)
from the dead. (Romans 10:9, emphasis added)
- Confession: “If you will confess (to Him) with your mouth the Lord Jesus…” (Romans 10:9) This means confess (or agree with) the Lordship of Jesus Christ over the earth and specifically over your life. This implies the surrender of your life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ so that He becomes your Master.
Congratulations!! By submitting to that order, the Bible says “…you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9) This begins your salvation experience. This is only the beginning of a whole new life that should include you learning the Presence and power of the Holy Spirit in and through your life. So now, you need to find a Bible-teaching, relationship building, loving church that believes in the fullness of the Holy Spirit operating in each believers’ life, and that will equip you to do what you have been ordained from before the foundations of the earth to do.
